Agentic Workflow
Alur Kerja Agentik
A process where an agent does a meaningful part of the work, not just answers a question about it.
An agentic workflow is a process redesigned around what an agent can do: it takes a request, gathers what it needs, takes several actions, checks its own work, and hands back a result that is mostly done.
The distinction from a chatbot is the amount of the process that happens without a person in it. A chatbot answers one question. An agentic workflow moves a ticket, drafts the reply, runs the check, and updates the record.
The most reliable agentic workflows have a narrow, checkable goal and a clear stopping point. "Answer customer questions about the invoice policy" is a good candidate. "Act as a colleague" is not. The narrower the definition of done, the more often the workflow can be trusted to run unattended.
